Alzero 2011 Quintarelli
Alzero 2011 is a fine wine produced by Quintarelli, in Veneto. Made from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, it is considered one of the best Italian red wines obtained from a blend of international grapes. After the harvest at the end of August, the grapes are transferred to the fruit cellar for drying; alcoholic fermentation is spontaneous and lasts about 50 days, while aging takes place in two phases; the first, lasting 30 months, in French oak barrels, while the second phase, always lasting 30 months, takes place in Slavonian oak barrels. Alzero 2011 shows an intense and deep ruby red color; The nose shows a large bouquet of spices, dried fruit and vanilla and cocoa notes. In the mouth it is of great structure, soft, with notes of ripe fruit and jam, with a very long finish. A unique wine that gives great emotions.
