Barbaresco San Stunet 2006 Piero Busso
Barberesco San Stunet 2006 is a fine wine produced by Piero Busso in the Barbaresco area, Piedmont. The wine comes from 100% Nebbiolo grapes of the San Stunet Cru from the San Stefanetto vineyard, the vineyard is located 400 meters above sea level, with a south-east exposure and a soil of calcareous-clayey origin. The vineyard extends for about 6000 hectares and the training system adopted is guyot. About 4800 bottles are produced which fermentation with maceration in steel vats at a controlled temperature of 28 ° -30 °. The wine ages 18 months in wood (70% large oak barrels, 30% barriques) plus 6 months of aging in bottle. Piero Busso's Barbaresco San Stunet 2006 shows an intense and very bright garnet color, the nose is permeated with complex hints of tobacco, spices and red fruit. In the mouth it is full and persistent.
