Barolo Riserva Runcot 2004 Elio Grasso Barolo Riserva
Barolo "Runcot" Riserva 2004 is a fine Piedmontese wine produced by Elio Grasso. It is the company's symbolic label, produced from Nebbiolo grapes harvested in the Monforte d'Alba area, only in the most favourable vintages.
The grapes come from vineyards that are 30 years old and after careful selection, they ferment in steel and then mature in French oak barriques for 60 months, plus another year in the bottle.
The Barolo Riserva Runcot di Elio Grasso shows a ruby red colour with garnet reflections; on the nose it expresses a complex bouquet of sweet spices, ripe red fruit, hints of underbrush, balsamic and mineral notes.
