Bolgheri Rosso Michele Satta
Bolgheri Rosso is a fine Tuscan wine produced by Michele Satta, one of the first labels of this denomination, before the arrival of the Supertuscans. It is obtained from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 30%, Sangiovese 30%, Merlot 20%, Syrah 10% and a minimal part of Teroldego at 10%. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in steel tanks, then the wine is left to rest on the skins for at least 3 weeks, after which it is assembled and left to mature in barrique for 12 months, plus 6 final months in bottle. Bolgheri Rosso Michele Satta is intense ruby red in color; The nose reveals hints of red and black fresh fruit, leather and tobacco. In the mouth it is elegant and balanced.
