Bourgogne Chardonnay 2018 Vincent Dancer
The 2018 Bourgogne Chardonnay is a fine Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Vincent Dancer. The 100% Chardonnay grapes come from two different vineyards, one located in Meursault and the other in Chassagne-Montrachet, in the Côte de Beaune, on clay-limestone soils.
Dancer wines are made according to organic farming principles and represent authentic interpretations of the terroir of origin, bottles of the highest quality that satisfy even the most demanding palates.
Fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts, while battonage is not carried out to preserve freshness. It ages in about 20% new oak for 17 months and after blending is racked again into stainless steel to age for a further 5-6 months before bottling, which takes place without filtering or filtration.
This Bourgogne Chardonnay is a mouth-watering and consistent wine that expresses on the nose a bouquet of tropical fruits, honey, citrus, notes of flowers and nutmeg. The sip is structured and textured but supported by a nice acidity.
