Champagne Grand Cru "Les Crayères" 2011 Marguet
"Les Crayères" Marguet is a Champagne Pas Dosé Grand Cru that comes from a blend where, alongside a slightly higher percentage of Pinot Noir, we also find a percentage of Chardonnay. The grapes grow in old vineyards located in the Grand Cru of Ambonnay, cultivated using biodynamic methods. Vinification takes place in barriques thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts, and then re-fermentation in the bottle, according to the principles of the Champenoise Method. The Champagne rests on the lees in the bottle for 44 months before disgorging and bottling. The Champagne Pas Dosé Grand Cru 'Les Crayères' Marguet of the Marguet maison shows in the glass a golden yellow colour with a fine and persistent bubble. The nose is very mineral, together with citrus and yeast aromas. The sip has an excellent structure, with a full, rounded mouthfeel that moves on a tasty texture.
