Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Roy Soleil
Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 'Roy Soleil' is a Champenoise method sparkling wine produced by Philippe Gonet in the french region of Champagne. It is a blanc de blancs made from Chardonnay grapes from the Le Mesnil-sur-Oger grand cru, on soils rich in limestone and clay. This cuvée was born from the imagination of the company's young team in honor of King Louis XIV. The Champagne blanc de blancs Grand Cru "Roy Soleil" makes a 6-month aging in tonneaux, followed by 36 months on the yeasts and a further refinement in bottle of three-year in the Maison’s cave. The nose shows elegant aromas of ginger and candied citrus, the tonneaux gives the wine extraordinary aromas, for a deep and complex wine that gives at the same time a beautiful freshness and minerality, elements on which Philippe Gonet is focuses a lot.
