Chateau Monbrison Margaux 2009 Chateau Monbrison
Chateau Monbrison Margaux 2009 is a fine Bordeaux wine produced by Chateau Monbrison. It is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (30%), Cabernet Franc (15%) and Petit Verdot (5%), from vines about 40 years old. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats, while ageing for 18 months takes place in oak barrels (40-60% of which are renewed every year, depending on the requirements of the vintage), with no filtration at bottling. It is a red wine of great balance and elegance, with a bouquet of red fruits and spices, for a fresh and harmonious sip, with spicy notes and a beautiful persistence.
