Greco di Tufo Miniere 2018 Dell'Angelo
Greco di Tufo Miniere 2018 is a white wine from Campania produced by Cantine Dell'Angelo. This wine is obtained from the homonymous grape coming from vineyards located near Campanaro, just above ancient sulfur mines which give the terroir a particular mineral note, hence the name "mines". The winery follows a sustainable viticulture which is very careful about environmental safeguarding and tries to obtain a wine which reflects in the most authentic and faithful way possible the characteristics of the terroir. In the vineyard chemicals are drastically reduced, in the cellar the fermentation is spontaneous, using only indigenous yeasts, and takes place in steel containers at low temperatures, to maintain the original characteristics of the grapes. The wine is stabilized for some months in steel tanks and at the end of this short aging period it is bottled. Greco di Tufo "Miniere" Cantine dell'Angelo's white wine shows a beautiful golden color, whereas to the nose it expresses strong mineral aromas accompanied by fruity aromas. The sip is light, crisp and, just like in the nose, strongly mineral. It is a white wine from Irpinia which tells in an absolutely authentic way the territory of origin, the unique terroir of Campanaro.
