Valentini Extra Virgin Olive Oil - The description
Valentini Extra Virgin olive oil is one of the finest Italian oils, a mix of tradition, terroir and human intervention. Valentini has been producing oil since the mid-seventeenth century and Francesco Valentini has gained the fame of the oil artisan, if the wine is produced in strict compliance with the teachings of the maternal grandfather, "as it is done 100 years ago" , for the production of oil, techniques have been studied to prevent oxidation and keep the exuberant aromaticity of the fruit unchanged, with the aim of continuously improving, reaching the top of excellence every year and exceeding it. The type of olive used is called Loretana, because it comes from the municipality of Loreto Aprutino in Abruzzo, which boasts the highest density of olive trees in Italy and was the first municipality to obtain the DOP for its oil. The property covers about 50 hectares of olive groves, cultivated with attention and respect for the environment. Valentini extra virgin olive oil is not filtered to maintain the integrity of the fruit and the high concentration of polyphenols contained, which together with a very low acidity maintain class and longevity. The aromatic profile is floral and herbaceous with hints of arugula, wild flowers and dried fruit. In the mouth it is full and intense, pleasantly bitter and slightly spicy. Extremely elegant and long-lasting, Valentini's Extra Virgin Olive Oil is one of the finest oils on the Italian scene.
