Joshua Cooper is the son of Nelly and Allan Cooper, the founders of the acclaimed Cobaw Ridge winery in the Macedon Ranges, Australia. A young and talented winemaker on the rise, Josh currently makes wine from grapes not sourced from his family's vineyards, seeking to evolve from his parents' work and create his own style of wine, with dreams of one day growing his own grapes.

The growers he works with, from all over central Victoria, cultivate with a philosophy based on the principles of organic farming and environmental sustainability. His wines have an exceptional delicacy and authenticity. Josh only makes a small amount of each wine and they are in high demand by those who want to join the next generation of Coopers soon.

His work based on quality and respect for the land, along with that of a few other winemakers, stands out from the more conventional Australian standards.
