Sancerre Les Monts Damnes 2019
Sancerre Les Monts Damnes 2019 is a fine French wine from the Loire Valley, produced by Pascal Cotat. This wine comes from the Cru Les Montes Damnes, from 60 years old vineyards owned by the Domaine, on soils rich in clay. The vinification is traditional: after manual harvesting, the grapes are pressed in an old press followed by fermentation in steel with the use of only indigenous yeasts and aging in wooden barrels over 60 years old, without any clarification and filtration. Bright straw yellow color and very warm, it expresses to the nose hints of aromatic herbs, flowers and dried fruit. The mouthfeel is rich and persistent, with delicious aromas of ripe fruit.
