Teroldego "Sgarzon" Magnum 2019 Foradori
Teroldego Sgarzon 2019 is a Trentino red wine produced using natural methods by the Foradori winery. This wine symbolises Elisabetta Foradori's company philosophy, which is strongly linked to traditions through the use of terracotta amphorae for vinification.
This wine is made from yve Teroldego grapes from a single vineyard, the Sgarzon vineyard, where the climate is cooler than in other areas and the soils, of alluvial origin, are sandy. In the vineyard the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture are followed, and the same applies in the cellar, where the must is slowly vinified inside the tinajas, the Spanish amphorae that Elisabetta Foradori uses as a fermentation container to obtain the maximum expression of her grapes. For 8 months the wine remains in the amphorae in contact with its skins, and is then refined for a few months in cement.
The Teroldego "Sgarzon" 2019 shows an intense garnet red colour. The nose has complex hints of forest fruits, flowers, earth and aromatic herbs, for a pleasant and persistent sip, fresh with velvety tannins and a mineral finish.
