Barbera d'Alba 2019 Giuseppe Rinaldi
Giuseppe Rinaldi's Barbera d'Alba DOC differs from the others produced in this area because of the double ageing in steel and oak barrels for 5 months, it is a young and fresh wine with a nice acidic backbone that supports the Barbera during the ageing process.
It is a very pleasant wine on the nose where it releases notes of dried violets and undergrowth, in the mouth it is straight with a slightly bitter finish, Barbera Rinaldi goes very well with cold meats and cheeses as well as carne salada and meat carpaccio.
Barbera d'Alba Aves 2018 Burlotto
Nice acidity, pleasant aromatic bouquet, about 7000 bottles are produced. The wine ferments for 12 months in 5 hectolitre barrels and then matures in casks for 12 months. Bright ruby red in colour, it expresses on the nose an intense bouquet of cherry, plum, berries with notes of vanilla and liquorice. In the mouth it is deep, austere, of balanced freshness and persistent.
Barbera d'Alba Vigna Martina 2017 Elio Grasso
Barbera Vigna Martina comes from a small plot of about three hectares called Vigna Martina and is aged in barriques for 12 months in new and old wood. It is ruby red in colour, with spicy, forest fruit and tobacco sensations on the nose. It is a medium-bodied wine with a fresh taste and a nice savoury finish.
