Wine Tasting Box: Chionetti's Philosophy

Since its inception in 1912, the Chionetti company has become a point of reference in the Italian wine scene thanks to the passion and work of Quinto Chionetti, a man who linked his work and his name to a grape variety: Dolcetto . Today the ownership of the winery is in the hands of his nephew Nicola, fifth generation of the family, who has converted the entire production to organic, in line with the traditional values of the family: classic procedures, thinning out in the vineyard, use of indigenous yeasts. Always consistent with the style set many years ago, the natural wines that come out of this cellar come from an agricultural regime that has categorically banned chemical interventions. Chionetti's wine testifies to an attachment to the uncommon territory and tradition and, although it represents a recognized institution of the territory, it does not lose the ability to surprise and excite.
