Vernaccia di San Gimignano "Selvabianca" 2020 Il Colombaio di Santa Chiara

Vernaccia di San Gimignano Selvabianca 2020 is a natural Tuscan white wine produced by Il Colombaio di Santa Chiara winery. Vernaccia di San Gimignano is the only white grape DOCG in a land of great reds such as Tuscany, a white wine with good structure and personality, characterized by an intense and varietal aromatic background.

Il Colombaio Santa Chiara's "Selvabianca" is produced with natural methods without the addition of chemicals: a soft pressing of the whole bunch of grapes is followed by fermentation at controlled temperature in cement and stainless steel vats. It then rests on its lees for a few months before being bottled.

The wine shows a light straw yellow color with greenish reflections, while the nose expresses delicate aromas of wild flowers, hints of citrus fruits and white fruits, notes of aromatic herbs and chamomile. The sip is very crisp and elegant, straight and persistent with a sapid finish.
