Louro 2018 Rafael Palacios
The Louro 2018 was born in Val do Bibei, in the region of Galicia, in the western part of Spain overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, just above Portugal. Here Rafael Palacios cultivates old vines (up to 40 years old) of Godello at 700 meters above sea level, the granitic-sandy soil and the almost Atlantic climate give this Spanish white wine a unique character, impossible not to love.
The Louro Rafael Palacios is a mature, intense wine with an overwhelming freshness, one goblet pulling the other. Strong and balanced, the wine is presented in an elegant straw-yellow glass. On the nose we find an intense and very territorial aromatic profile, where hints of white pulp fruits, fennel, broom, honey, rosemary, citrus fruits and minerals alternate as if it were raining. For its price range it is difficult to find a wine as complex as the Louro.
In the mouth it is very pleasant, a good structure supported by the strong acidity typical of this vine and the terrors in which it is born, long finish with a pleasant flavor.
