Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc Extra Brut 2017 Domaine Dominique Gruhier
This Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc Extra Brut 2017 is a Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Dominique Gruhier. This bottle of French bubbles is part of that category of classic method sparkling wines that are not produced in the Champagne region, but in 7 regions including Burgundy, and are part of the Crémant de Bourgogne appellation. In its range of premium products, Gruhier is also dedicated to the production of this wine, which is made from a cuvée of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. The low dosage allows the original characteristics of the grapes to be respected, and this wine remains to mature in the bottle on its lees for 24 months, enriching it with personality and greater complexity, although it remains a very pleasant and easy-drinking sparkling wine. This 2017 Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc Extra Brut has an intense straw yellow colour. The nose is very expressive giving notes of pastry and citrus fruits (especially red orange aroma is evident). The sip is refined, quite fresh, pleasant with a bubble that gently caresses the palate.
