The Bourgogne Epineuil Rouge "L'Ame Des Dannots" by Dominique Gruhier comes from vineyards located in a charming and welcoming estate, the Abbey of Quincy. Piccolo, created by the Cistercian monks in 1212. We are in Burgundy, a region renowned for the production of wines, especially Pinot Noir reds, like this Bourgogne Epineuil Rouge. The vineyard is two hectares and is laid on calcareous clay soils. The maturation takes place in 10% new and second passage barrels for about 5 years. The maceration takes place under carbon dioxide for 4 days before the start of fermentation. Aging takes place in new barrels for only 10%. A fascinating, rich and powerful wine offers all the qualities sought after by connoisseurs.

Domaine Gruhier is based in the charming Abbey of Quincy, located in the French valleys of Epineuil. Today, the estate consists of 28 hectares of land distributed between the territories of Chablis and Epineuil, cultivated according to organic farming principles, working in a way that supports the timing and natural characteristics of the grapes. Gruhier's wines range from wines such as Bourgogne Epineuil and Bourgogne Tonnerre, but above all great Chablis to which are added Cremant de Bourgogne both white and rosé, sparkling blends of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes of great class and drinkability.
