Brunello di Montalcino 2016 is a fine wine produced by the historic Tuscan company Castiglion del Bosco. In just a few years, this bottle has managed to receive international recognition thanks to the elegance of its aromas and the excellence of its sip, elements that know how to win over even the most demanding palates.
The grapes come from the single vineyard Capanna, located north-west of Montalcino, the characteristics of this terroir give great elegance and personality to the wine. The wine is fermented for 18 days in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 °C, and then aged for 24 months in French oak.
Brunello di Castiglion del Bosco has an intense garnet colour with a complex and refined nose of cherry, blackberry, currant, vanilla, cinnamon, mint, leather and spices. The taste is intense and well-structured, powerful and at the same time balanced. It closes with a long finish.
