Champagne Un Jour de 1911 André Clouet
Champagne Un Jour de 1911 is a fine wine produced by André Clouet. It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from the prestigious Grand Cru vineyards of Bouzy, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. It is a rare and prestigious bottle of which only 1911 are produced each year, a cuvée composed of three different important vintages. It is aged on the lees for about 72 months, partly in Sauternes barriques. The dosage is very low (1g/l), to allow the Champagne to express all its innate characteristics. The Champagne Un Jour de 1911 by André Clouet shows in the glass a beautiful bright straw yellow colour with a fine, numerous and persistent perlage. It expresses a refined and mouth-watering bouquet of fruit such as apple and pear, then notes of pastry and brioche along with hints of toasted hazelnut. The sip is elegant and deep, balanced and animated by a nice freshness.
