Champagne Extra Brut V.P. Grand Cru Egly-Ouriet
Champagne Extra Brut V.P. Grand Cru is a fine wine produced by the small artisanal Maison of Egly-Ouriet, a company that owes its success to the search for the highest quality grapes, traditional principles and long ageing on the lees, elements that give elegance and complexity to the wines.
Champagne is made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Grand Cru plots, which are located in the most renowned areas of the Champagne region, such as Ambonnay, Bouzy and Verzenay. The vines have an average age of between 40 and 60 years and are cultivated without the use of herbicides, pesticides and chemical fertilisers, giving the wine an extraordinary and intense aromatic bouquet.
The Champagne Extra Brut V.P. Grand Cru is aged on the lees for a minimum period of 6 years. It has a beautiful straw yellow colour with golden reflections and a very fine and persistent perlage; the nose offers a bouquet of floral scents, citrus notes, ripe fruit, nuances of dried fruit and bread crust. The taste is rich and structured, long with an elegant, fresh and savoury finish.
