Champagne Le Clos 2008 Tristan Hyest
Le Clos 2008 is a fine Champagne produced by Tristan. This cuvée is made from 55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Noir from Lieu-dit Courcelles, in the territory of Trélou-Sur-Marne, in Vallée de la Marne, where the Domaine is located.
The grapes come exclusively from the 2008 vintage, it is an Extra Brut and a very limited number of these are produced (509 bottles and 12 magnums), in line with Tristan's production philosophy, which is always very careful to respect the environment and the original characteristics of the wine. Champagne Le Clos 2008 is a rich and creamy Champagne, but at the same time very fresh and mineral.
It expresses itself in the glass with a beautiful luminous straw colour and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose is rich and generous, mineral, with aromas of fresh and dried fruit and notes of yeast, bread crust and pastry. In the mouth it is very classy, with a characteristic citrusy taste enriched by a very refreshing savoury verve. It closes with a finish endowed with excellent persistence.
