Champagne Les Terres Argileuse Tristan Hyest
Champagne Les Terres Argileuse is a fine Champagne produced by Tristan. It is a Blanc de Blanc made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the Trélou-Sur-Marne area in the Vallée de la Marne, a territory particularly suited to the production of Pinot Noir. This Champagne actually has more structure and strength than other Champagnes made from 100% Chardonnay, characteristics conferred by the terroir of origin.
Twenty per cent of reserve wines from the two previous vintages are added to the current vintage, and it is characterised as Extra Brut with a dosage of 3 g/l. Only a very limited number of these bottles are produced, about 2000 per year, in line with Tristan's production philosophy, which is always very careful to respect the environment and the original characteristics of the wine.
Les Terres Argileuse" is a fresh and mineral Champagne, distinguished by a beautiful elegance, which is expressed in the glass of a bright straw yellow colour and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose offers fruity and citrus scents, for a savoury and elegant sip. It is perfect to drink as an aperitif.
