Champagne Bord de Marne Tristan
Bord de Marne is a fine Champagne produced according to natural methods by artisan vigneron Tristan. The uniqueness of this small producer is evidenced by the choice to make several micro cuvées parcellaires, mostly vintage, produced in limited quantities. This allows the production of precise and very territorial Champagnes, capable of reflecting the peculiarities of the single terroirs of origin and in case of vintage wines, the different vintages.
This Bord de Marne Champagne is produced with a blend of 40% Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay coming from vineyards in the Vallée de la Marne and Trélou sur Marne. About 60% are grapes of the current vintage, whereas 40% are vins de reserve of previous vintages. The final dosage is very low (about 3.3 g/l) and a very limited number of bottles are produced, about 3000.
Tristan's Bord de Marne is a very precise and pleasing Champagne, characterized by a nose where white fruits stand out and a very crisp and mineral taste supported by a good structure.
