Ploussard 2018 Frederic Cossard
Ploussard 2018 is a fine wine produced by Frederic Cossard. Made from grapes from a fifty-year-old vineyard in the Rotalier, it ferments for three weeks in whole bunches, before being transferred to terracotta amphorae of Georgian origin where fermentation and six months of aging end. Ploussard is a pure and frank wine, delicate and with great minerality. Not too deep ruby red in color, it expresses a delicate bouquet of dried flowers, small berries, spicy notes. This delicacy continues in the mouth where the sip is pleasant and drinkable. It is a delicate and pleasant medium-bodied red wine.
