Pommard 1er Cru Les Argillieres 2017 Domaine Lejeune
Pommard 1er Cru Les Argillieres 2017 is a natural wine produced by Domaine Lejeune. It comes from Pinot Noir grapes grown in Pommard, in the vineyard facing south / east; here the vines (average age 45 years) rest on clayey-calcareous soils with deep soils rich in rock. The harvest is manual, with selection of the best grapes; the vinification is of a traditional mold, with the use of indigenous yeasts and steel fermentations. The wine rose in new barriques for 65/75% of the mass, in used barriques for the remaining 25/35% for a total duration of 20 months. Bright in color, this Pommard 1er Cru Les Argillieres features a bouquet of spices such as pink pepper, small ripe red fruits, herbaceous notes. In the mouth it is full-bodied and refined, an exceptional Premier Cru.
