Vire-Clesse Chatelaine Natural Wine 2017
Viré-Clessé "En Châtelaine" is a fine Burgundy wine produced by Robert Denogent. We are in Beaujolais, south of Burgundy, and the 100% Chardonnay grapes come from an old vineyard from 1917 grown on clayey-calcareous soil that gives the wine elegance and minerality. Viré-Clessé "En Châtelaine" shows itself at the sight of a beautiful straw yellow color; The nose releases an interesting bouquet of yellow fruit, exotic fruit, delicate white flowers and mineral notes. In the mouth it is full-bodied, lively and energetic in the beautiful harmony between freshness and creaminess.
