Bourgogne Rouge 2018 "Liber Pater" Domaine Ami
Bourgogne Rouge 2018 is a natural red Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Ami. The company was born from the desire to keep alive the friendship between the talented winemaker Willy, expert in the terroir of the cote de Beaune, and the charismatic Paul who studied the philosophy of tasting between London and Paris, and in the company is the link between the city and countryside.
An intense wine with a bright ruby red color, the nose releases an intense bounquet of red fruit, sweet cherry and plum, pink and violet, sweet spices together with an enveloping minerality. In the mouth it is structured, medium-bodied, full with a smooth tannin and a nice acidity. Pinot noir in purity deriving from clayey limestone soils with deep soils belonging to the Batonian period.
The vineyard is grown organically, vinification takes place with whole bunches with a 10-day maceration. Barrel aging for 1 year. It goes well with first courses or roasted meats, medium-aged or seasoned cheeses.
