Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2016 is a French white wine produced by Samuel Billaud. It is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the 0.50 hectares of property located in the renowned Les Clos Grand Cru Vineyard, located on the right bank of the river Le Serein, between the municipalities of Chablis and Fyé. A pontent and very long-lived wine, Samuel Billaud's Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos offers a complex bouquet of citrus notes, quince and peach, mineral salts. In the mouth it is powerful and lively with a nice savoury note, but a nice balance and creaminess.

The Domaine Samuel Billaud was founded in 2009 by the Samuel Billaud of the same name, after having been the reference winemaker of the Domain Billaud-Simon for years.

Chablis wines of all denominations are produced, from Petit Chablis to Chablis Grand Cru, passing through Chablis Village and Chablis Premier Cru of all the best AOC Chablis crus. 

In the cellar only Chablis Premier Cru and Chablis Grand Cru are matured in wood, large 450 and 600 liter barrels with 15% new wood are used, the rest fermented in small steel tanks.

The range of Chablis wines from Domaine Samuel Billaud, from the Village to the Grand Cru, is composed of refined wines with intense noses with a mix of aromatic profiles ranging from licorice to white peach to toasted baguette.
