Gruhier is the expression of the most traditionalist imprint of Burgundy winemaking, a winemaker extremely attentive to the care and protection of the territory and a production that fully respects the health of the environment and its customers.
Like most winemakers in Burgundy, the tradition of winemaking requires little interventionist techniques where the chemistry of manipulation and support to the vineyard is largely removed in favor of manual techniques in the vineyard, copper and sulfur in the help of cultivation, grassy mantle safeguarded to facilitate the microbial activity of the soil and a winemaking in the cellar completely natural without adding any z stop outside the natural cycles.
The result is wines of great individual character, absolutely far from the standardization of taste and flavour, capable of exalting the most peculiar characteristics of the terroir to which they belong.
