Brut Champagne BSA Vincent Brochet
Champagne Brut BSA is a fine wine produced in the traditional way by Vincent Brochet. It is made from a blend of 80% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir and 5% Meunier grapes from the Premier Cru vineyards of Sacy. The cuvée is composed of the current year's harvest with 50% reserve wines from the two previous years.
Both in the vineyard and in the cellar, ancestral, non-invasive techniques are used, fully respecting the terroir. Vinification takes place entirely in oak barrels and attempts are made to avoid malolactic fermentation of the base wines, keeping temperatures low to give the wine a good dose of freshness. Once bottled, refermentation is carried out according to the principles of the Champenoise method, and the wine remains on its lees in the bottle for a period of 36 to 42 months. The final dosage is 9 g/l and is classified as Brut.
Vincent Brochet's Extra Brut Champagne is distinguished by a fruity nose of ripe red fruits such as plum, together with classic hints of pastry. The sip is balanced between softness and a nice freshness.
