Sancerre "Les Monts Damnes" 2018 Francois Cotat - Description
The wines of the Loire express their incredible particularity thanks to the weather conditions of the region itself and the influences with which the Loire river of the same name has affected the terroir of this area.
Sancerre "Les Mont Damnes" is obtained by hand from vines at least 35 years old and ferments in oak barrels, like other natural sulphite-free wines, and is neither filtered nor clarified.
This French wine from Francois Cotat is an intense straw yellow with elegant hints of white flowers, aromatic herbs and vegetal notes. In the mouth, like most Loire wines, it is taut and mineral with a savoury finish that you will love.
We pair it well with tasty goat's cheese or more classically with tasty fish or shellfish.
