Il Rossodatavola Collecapretta
Rossodatavola is an everyday wine, for a meal, but not for this reason it is a small wine! It is produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes cultivated in Martani hills, in Umbria, by Collecapretta winery, a wonderful family business, capable of producing real wines that best represent the terroir from which they come from.
Collecapretta's Rossodatavala is spontaneously fermented without temperature control in large open vats and it is subsequently aged in fiberglass before being bottled without adding sulfur dioxide.
In the glass it shows a beautiful and brilliant purple color, not too intense, the bouquet is surprising with an alternation of floral and fruity notes such as mulberry, plum, blueberry and pomegranate and then turn to tertiary notes of tobacco and cherries in alcohol and finish with a pleasing smoked hint. In the mouth a glass pulls the other, it is a taut and juicy wine with a great drinkability with an almost brackish flavor that best accompanies the rich and tasty cuisine like the Umbrian one.
A trreally amazing natural wine!
