Saint Julien En Saint Alban Vieille Serine 2014 Eric Texier
Saint Julien En Saint Alban Vieille Serine 2014 is a natural wine from Rhône Valley produced by Eric Texier. It is produced with Serine grapes, a very old variety of Syrah rediscovered by Eric Texier, in line with his production philosophy based on preserving and revaluating the territory, by producing wines in a natural way. The ripeness of grapes is monitored by tasting them directly from the plant, harvesting is done by hand and fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts, whereas malolactic fermentation is done naturally. Rich and endowed with great freshness, this wine ages in oak barrels for 18 months. Ruby red in color, it mainly expresses aromas of black cherries and spicy hints of black pepper, a typical characteristic of the grape. The sip is rich, fresh and harmonic.
