Salvaxe Blanco 2017 Xose Lois Sebio
Salvaxe Blanco 2017 is a Spanish white wine produced by the Xose Lois Sebio winery. It is made from a blend of indigenous white grapes such as Lado, Treixadura, Albariño, Godello and other varieties from very old vineyards.
It is part of the project implemented by Sebio, which consists of recovering old, forgotten or unproductive vineyards, cultivated according to organic and biodynamic principles and in a different way with respect to the variety of grape and the different areas, in order to produce wines with character and territory. Such is the case with this Salvaxe Blanco, to which the old vines lend concentration and flavour.
The wine ferments spontaneously in stainless steel tanks at a very low temperature on the skins, and is aged in 500L barrels at a low temperature. The Salvaxe Blanco 2017 expresses an intense nose of flowers, spices and ripe fruit, and mineral notes. The sip is elegant and balanced between freshness and softness, fruity and mineral. A wine with character and uniqueness with good ageing potential.
