Champagne Blanc de Blancs Eric Rodez
The Champagne Blanc de Blans by Eric Rodez is a fine Champagne produced from 100% Chardonnay grapes obtained from the combination of more than 15 base wines from 6 different vintages exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards in Ambonnay. A great Champagne Blanc de Blancs from a terroir with a vocation for reds that can offer a combination of complexity and elegance. The base wines are fermented for 60% of the grapes in small oak barrels, while 30% do not undergo malolactic fermentation to preserve a beautiful freshness. The Champagne Blanc de Blans Eric Rodez has a luminous straw yellow colour with greenish reflections and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose expresses a fruity bouquet of peach, citrus fruits such as citron and lemon, hints of vanilla and pastry. The sip is balanced between softness and freshness of the citrus, with hints of citrus and a final sapid trail.
