Dominio Do Bibei 2014 Dominio Do Bibei
Dominio Do Bibei 2014 is a Spanish red wine produced by Dominio Do Bibei. It is made from the indigenous grapes Brancellao 80% and Mouratón 20% that come from vineyards between 10 and 60 years old that grow at different altitudes between 250 and 550 meters above sea level. The grapes macerate with the must before fermentation for 3 days, followed by fermentation in open 500-litre French oak barrels and malolactic fermentation in 300-litre barrels. Maturation takes place for 15 months in used barriques plus a further 6 months in 15-hectolitre fudre. It is a red wine that offers hints of red fruits, flowers, spices and leather on the nose; the mouth takes up the fruit of the nose and spices, along with a refreshing minerality that accompanies the sip to the end.
