Rielsing Andlau 2018 Marc Kreydenweiss
Riesling Andlau 2018 is a white wine from Alsace produced according to biodynamic methods by Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss. The 100% Riesling grapes come from rock formations dating back to primary (shale), secondary (sandstone) and even pre-Cambrian (de Ville shale) times. Due to this varied composition, these decaying soils are very rich in minerals, giving the characteristic mineral scents to Alsatian wines.
Andlau is a very special wine that immediately catches the eye thanks to its label depicting a horse and created by the artist Julie Salmon. It has a nose characterised by citrus aromas, acacia flowers and spicy notes, not to mention the strong minerality that we find in the mouth, for a strongly savoury and mineral taste and a strong final acid note. A great riesling from Alsace.
